I’m very grateful that I have been able to make Taekwon-Do such a big part of my life. Though I cannot remember exactly why and how I was drawn into competing, now I cannot even envision my life without it.

As a member of the Swedish Team and my club I have visited many places and countries throughout the world, seeing many things that otherwise I could never dream to see and making many new and valuable friendships.

What matters the most for me is the opportunity to see just how good I can get, the people and the atmosphere. It is the feeling that I am a small part of something good that inspires me to continue and grow as a competitor. Being together with my team mates both abroad and at home practically made us into a family. I’m looking forward to more competitions and travels together.

My Taekwon-Do enabled me to train and learn from some of the best competitors from around the world. Not only has this given me a lot of inspiration and dedication in competing, it also brought a new focus in my life as a whole.

It really didn’t matter if I was practicing Taekwon-Do in Hong Kong, New Zealand or Brazil. The best thing is that I meet people from all over the world that share the same love and determination in training, competition and life.
