Who is always happy to see you? Who thinks you’re wonderful even if you forget their birthday?
Who makes sure that you get to your Taekwon-Do class on time and who thinks you do great at tournaments even if you don’t win?
Your parents - of course!
Why are parents special?
They make your favorite food.
They read and sing to you.
They can make you laugh.
They practice Taekwon-Do with you even though they think a side kick is actually a front snap kick…
What makes your parents special?
Chicos from Chile
Andre and Mohamed from Kenya with Mr. Davis
Jarod (left) from New Zealand with Mom and Dad watching
Do you have a picture of you and your TKD friends? Send it to us at kidsarecool@tkd-itf.org and you might be in the next issue of Kid Kicks.
Did you know???
The Bordón-Medina family in Paraguay has seven family members learning and teaching ITF Taekwon-Do. Isn’t that amazing! Imagine how much fun it would be hanging out with your own parents at TKD. You could teach them all the neat moves such as dollyo chagi and help count out push ups for them. Try not to laugh though…
The secret word for Kidkicks3 was Grand Master Tran. Did you find it? Our new secret word? Hint: He attends a certain wizard school named Hogwarts.

Thank you to all who participated in Kidkicks poll 3. 37% answered that they are happy just to do Taekwon-Do and then 27% said they want to be Grand Masters.
Holy smokes!!! That shows good energy and super commitment.
Gotta go. Stay tuned for our next issue. Be sure to send us your favorite picture of your parents or parent especially in a Taekwon-Do uniform.
