The 91st IIC of the ITF from April 18th to April 20th was the first one in the younger history in Kyrgyzstan after the passing away of our beloved founder General Choi Hong-Hi.

GM Hector Marano (Chairman of the ITF Technical Committee) and GM Kim-Lan Ung (Member of the ITF Technical Committee) conducted the seminar with a lot of energy and humour to the 107 participants from Kyrgyzstan, Moldova and Russia.

The knowledge of both Grandmasters is always fascinating!

During the three days they went through all facets of TKD ITF – pattern, free sparring, step sparring, self defence, theory.

On April 21st and 22nd Master Nardizzi conducted a two day seminar on the ITF Children’s programme. This was the 1st Kid’s seminar in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia. The 24 participants took part with big enthusiasm and curiousity and their enjoyment of the games was obvious. The Taekwon-Do Federation ITF in the Kyrgyz Republic has already translated  the Kid’s study book into the Russian language and the proof reading is almost completed.

On April 22nd in the late afternoon and 23rd the whole day Master Weiler conducted a step sparring seminar and an Umpire B seminar for 55 participants. The participants were eager for knowledge and asked many questions.

On April 25th a promotion was held by Master Weiler and 5 candidates from 3rd to 4th degree passed the grading.

On April 26th an Honorary Black Belt certificate, a black belt and a ITF pin was handed over to the 1st Adviser of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.

At the Championship at the weekend (April 26th and 27th) 420 competitors took part with more than 500 starts. For the first time the German electronic system was used for the sparring categories and has been working without any problem.

Besides of all the activities many meetings were held with high authorities, e.g.:

-       Ministry of Sport

-       National Olympic Committee

-       Academy for Physical Culture and Sport

-       1st Adviser of the President of Kyrgyz Republic
